1. Cancellations and Refunds

1.1. In case of cancellation more than 30 days before the scheduled pick-up date, we will fully refund the amount previously paid. If reservation is cancelled less than 30 days before pickup date the following pricing will apply:

1.1.1 - If your reservation is cancelled between 29 to 15 days before the scheduled pickup date, the 50% deposit will not be refunded (cancellation fee), but you will however not be charged the final remaining amount.

1.1.2 - If your reservation is cancelled within 14 days before the scheduled pick-up date, you will be charged the full amount of the reservation (no-show fee).

2. Payment / Credit Card

2.1. Upon confirming the reservation your credit or debit card will be charged 50% of the total rental amount, including fees and taxes. The prepayment method for your rental cannot be changed after confirmation. In the event your charge card is declined, your reservation will not be valid and you will not receive confirmation of the rental.

2.2. Appropriate exchange rates will apply, according to your payment method / bank charges.

2.3. The security deposit can be paid by credit card (Visa or Mastercard), debit card or cash, if you wish to pay by credit card the holder must be present at the time of the start of the experience. At the beginning of the experience, the client is required to pay a deposit according to the insurance option chosen. This amount will be held on the renter's credit card to guarantee payment in case of theft or accident, and any other problem with the equipment during the period of the experience.

2.4. Upon return of the equipment, we will proceed to release the unused portion of the security deposit in accordance with your bank's procedures.

3. Duration of the Experience.

3.1 Equipment rental charges are accounted per day.

3.2. Late pickups or early deliveries do not entitle the customer to any refund of the unused portion of the experience.

3.3. Previously arranged pickups or deliveries at the customer's request outside business hours are subject to an additional charge according to the current price list.

4. Equipment Pickups and Returns.

4.1. Equipment pickup and return may be scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at no additional charge.

4.2. Pickup or return outside the hours between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. upon request and at an additional charge of €50.00.

5. Documents/Driver's License/Minimum Age

The driver must be over 21 years of age at the time of pickup, and present a valid class B driving license for driving in Europe (light), or an international driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of issue, a valid identification document and a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) to secure the security deposit. If one of the drivers is under 25 years old, the “Extra” or “No Problem” insurance is mandatory. Drivers under the age of 25 are not eligible for “Basic” insurance. The credit card holder must be present when the equipment is picked up. Copies of driver's licenses, IDs or credit cards are not accepted.

PRIVACY NOTICE WHEN COLLECTING BOOKING INFORMATION

The personal data collected are those considered minimum for the purposes of Commercial Contact in the context of our professional activity and are processed only for this purpose.

ALLWAYS PIRATES (Gil Rocha) will not share this data and actively maintains technical and administrative measures adequate to protect any personal data under its responsibility.

This data will be kept for up to a year, after which they will be deleted.

The Holder is entitled to exercise the right of access, rectification, forgetting, limitation or opposition to the treatment and portability, as well as the right to complain to the Portuguese Control Authority.

Any need for clarification on the Policy and/or Practices of ALLWAYS PIRATES (Gil Rocha) in terms of Data Protection and Privacy or the exercise of rights by the Holders should be sent to mail@allwayspirates.com.
