Algarve's coast is synonyms with great beaches, red cliffs 'A costa algarvia é sinónimo de grandes praias and falésias avermelhadas, creating various silhouettes of caves that can only be accessed by sea.
Starting our advanture in Sages, the Algarvia route is dotted by rural landscapes. The southern coast is known by the high ammount of tourists and marked by great cities like Lagos, Albufeira, Faro and Tavira. Leaving the the chaos of the southern big cities, Algarve's interior is and excellent option to those that want to know the picturesque side of the region, like the village of Monchique, Alte, Silves, Paderne or Martim Longo.
From Barlavaento to Sotavento, both regions are typical and genuine with hospitable people who like to welcome and offer to taste the flavors of the land.Throughout this route, there are scattered multiple spots for extreme sports, like kayak, surf, and MTB (check the map) aswell as the famous Algarve road (300km) from São Vicente's cape, to Alcoutim. This route is know as the backbone of a network of walking and bicycle trails.
